ElĂas Querejeta was born on October 27, 1934 in Hernani, GuipĂşzcoa, PaĂs Vasco, Spain as ElĂas Querejeta Gárate. He was a producer, director and writer, known for A travĂ©s de San Sebastián (1960), The City of Lost Children (1995), Stories from the Kronen (1995), Mondays in the Sun (2002) and Seven Billiard Tables (2007). He was married to the costume designer Maiki MarĂn and his daughter is the director/ writer Gracia Querejeta. He died on June 9, 2013 in Madrid, Spain.
